Environmental education
Environmental education is a program aimed at local schools, education
institutions, garden clubs, all eco clubs, in the form of providing
lectures and practical visuals to create an awareness of the aims and
objectives of the Local Provincial Butterfly Sanctuary. This is one of the
best marketing tools applied.
Awareness of butterflies and other insects
At the Local Provincial Butterfly Sanctuary Lepidome, tours are
provided to local and international tourists including local educational
institutions and clubs. A hands on experience of butterflies and other
insects. Employment
opportunities
The Local Provincial Butterfly Sanctuary
will automatically need assistance from the local community, who in turn
are trained and employed as tour guides, chefs, shop managers and cleaning
staff for the sanctuary. A
butterfly Lepidome (house) in which one can view many butterfly species
The Lepidome is an awesome indoor experience of butterflies, flying in
their hundreds for viewers to admire, photograph and find satisfying
pleasure from. A breeding
centre, where the entire life cycle of a butterfly can be witnessed live
The breeding centre is an educational experience showing the different
butterfly larva/caterpillars, following their transitions to becoming
chrysalis/pupae to emerge as butterflies, fresh and beautiful.
A tea garden
The tea garden is a tranquil fascinating experience where one can
still view butterflies in their natural habitat, in which you can be
tantalized with the local menu.
Butterfly parks/gardens, demonstrating
landscaping that is beneficial to butterflies and pleasing on the eye
The landscaping of outside trails, leads one into the kingdom of
butterflies. Identifying their local host plants and how these attract the
various species to this haven for butterflies.

quizine for all its visitors and tourists alike.

Lepidome, imitating the inside of a volcano, in which hundreds of orchids
hang from the walls, to present an inspiring natural atmosphere of beauty
to behold A nursery for
indigenous host plants for sale to the public
The indigenous nursery will give the local community the opportunity
to purchase indigenous trees, shrubs and flowers for their gardens to
attract butterfly spies and enrich the local communities environment. It
will also supply breeders with the plants they need and which are at times
difficult to get. A Wedding
venue
The Lepidome is a splendid venue for a wedding for the local
community. Imagine the wedding taking place while so many butterflies
carry their blessings and are after all the carriers of delight, beauty
and peace for all. Assist
local Provincial Breeders
